I've been experimenting with a new way to make stencils for my wallets, and I just found out season 3 of MLP FIM is airing Nov 10th, so I was a bit inspired and so far I've liked the result. This new technique allows me to make more complex designs, but I do wish I could get the lines a bit cleaner looking. All the same, the sort of grungy feel adds a bit of style to it in my opinion. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for the compliment, I contribute its look to a combination of things. The texture of the tape, the type of brush used, the amount of paint put on the brush, how hard I push on the brush, just to name a few. But conveniently I'm about to make a time-lapse video on one of my wallets, and I plan on trying to recreate this same sort of inconsistent grungy look on it. So be sure to keep an eye out. Thanks again.
I'll likely post it to YouTube, but I'll have links for it here in several places. And I could embed it into my main page, so it'll probably be hard to miss.
Thanks, this actually is an older one but remains one of my most popular. It'll likely be the first of my works to reach 100 favorites. I'll have to do something fun when that happens. We'll see, thanks again.
